I can't find the company or business I'm looking for Our database has the complete list of companies registered with Companies House plus over 2 million businesses (i.e. sole traders, partnerships and others). Even so, there may be some businesses that we have not encountered, perhaps because they are newly formed, or that are trading under two or more names. Try checking the spelling of the name of the business or asking them if they are registered under a different name from the one they are trading under. If you still cannot find them, we recommend that you take extra caution and possibly obtain a trade reference
